Dr. Russ Quaglia

Dr. Quaglia is a pioneer in the field of education, known for his unwavering dedication to student voice and aspirations. His innovative work is evidenced by an extensive library of research-based publications and media appearances. He has authored the School Voice suite of surveys and best-selling books, including Student Voice: The Instrument of Change and Engagement by Design. His most recent book, The Power of Voice is getting global recognition. Dr. Quaglia has become a frequent visitor to schools and institutions around the world, demonstrating his passion for ensuring that students’, teachers’, principals’ and parents’ voices are always heard, honored, and acted upon.

Dr. Peter DeWitt

Peter DeWitt (Ed.D) is a former teacher (11 years) and principal (8 years) who facilitates workshops and provides keynotes nationally and internationally focusing on leadership, coaching and fostering inclusive school climates. DeWitt’s work has been adopted at the university, state level and national level, and he works with numerous districts, ministries of education, school boards, regional and state organizations where he facilitates workshops for leaders, leadership teams as well as coaches building and district leaders. Peter is the author of several books including Collaborative Leadership: 6 Influences That Matter Most (Corwin Press/Learning Forward) and School Climate: Leading with Collective Efficacy (Corwin Press/Ontario Principals Council. 2017).

Simon Bailey & Marceta Reilly

Simon Bailey’s framework is based on his 30 years’ of experience in the hospitality industry, including serving as sales director for Disney Institute, based at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. He is a prolific author and Hall of Fame Keynote Speaker that has worked with Signet Jewelers, SalesForce, T-Mobile, Stanford Healthcare, General Mills and Hilton Hotels just to name a few. His purpose is to Spark listeners to lead countries, companies, and communities differently. Marceta Reilly is a thought leader and passionate advocate for creating schools and districts in which everybody—students, staff, parents, community—thrives. She spent 34 years of her career in public education experimenting with ways to teach and lead that make schools the trusted center (the heart!) of a community.

Arnis Burvikovs

Arnis Burvikovs has worked in college and professional education publishing for 40 years.  Arnis started as a sales representative with Little, Brown and Co. before moving on to Regional and National Sales Management with Allyn and Bacon and Longman Press. The core of his career was spent as an Executive Editor for the Educational Psychology and Educational Administration Lists at Allyn and Bacon  and as a Publisher for Leadership at Corwin Press. Developing new ideas and guiding established as well as fledgling authors have been the benchmarks of Arnis’ career. During his time at Corwin, Arnis published successful works with well established authors such as Michael Fullan, Andy Hargreaves, Yong Zhao, Liz Wiseman, and  Vivianne Robinson. He also initiated and nurtured authors such as Peter DeWitt, Lyn Sharratt, Eric Sheninger, and Debbie Silver whose careers have blossomed as authors and learning coaches.

Ariel Curry

Ariel Curry is a book coach, editor, and ghostwriter with over ten years’ experience in publishing. She spent seven years as an acquisitions editor at independent nonfiction publisher Corwin, part of the SAGE Publishing group. She works with high-profile authors and companies like Fresh Complaint, Wonderwell Press, Corwin, Forbes Books, and Hope*Writers. Her passion is to help professionals, thought leaders, and educators make an impact on the world through the power of books. Originally from Southern California, Ariel now lives outside Chattanooga, TN, with her husband, two dogs, a kitten, and a beehive. When she’s not editing or writing, you can find Ariel reading, practicing yoga, or trying to keep her garden alive.
